Born Arnaldo Lescay Castellanos in Santiago de Cuba, December 11, 1980.
Started his first musical studies at “Jose Maria Heredia” vocational school in Santiago de Cuba and graduated in percussion in 1995; in 1994 won the second prize in the “Amadeo Roldán” percussion competition in his city. Graduated in 1999 in secondary level at musical school “Esteban Salas” in Santiago.

In 1997 played Cuban popular music with the band “Muralla”, touring in various part of the country, in 1998 played with the band “La Idea” touring as well in the country, and in the same year formed also the band "Formas" which played in various editions of the Festivals del Caribe in Santiago de Cuba.

Started his career with jazz music under the direction of father Alberto Lescay Merencio and recorded in 1999 his first album. Played then in the jazz trio “La Tisana” under the direction of David Virelles. Participated in the concert for graduated in the international contest “Jo Jazz” held in Amadeo Roldán theater in La Havana in February 2000, the trio realized systematical activities in the Unión de Escritores y Artistas of Santiago de Cuba (UNEAC).

Played with prestigious Cuban and foreign musicians: alike Canadian saxophone player Jane Bunett and south African trumpeter Feya Faku in year 2000 edition of Festival del Caribe.

He is now musician in the Orquestra Sinfonica de Oriente and playing timbales with his band "Son de Buena Fe" preparing a video clip and the tour that will take him to italy during summer 2003.
